What ever you're into, Donner Summit has something for everyone. During the winter months you have five different ski resorts to choose from. Donner Ski Ranch, Boreal Mountain Resort, Sugar Bowl Resort and Soda Springs Resort all offer down hill skiing and snowboarding.

Boreal Resort is your place for terrain park action. Soda Springs is a small family fun resort offering skiing, snowboarding and tubing. Donner Ski Ranch is your place for value offering great ticket deals every day of the week. Sugar Bowl Resort is a family resort offering terrain for every level, custom ski and snowboard lessons and the largest resort on the Summit.

Royal Gorge is North America's largest cross country resort. You'll enjoy miles of well groomed trails offering scenic views of Donner Summit. Whether your looking to get your cardio work out or just entering the sport, Royal Gorge offers rental and lessons for every skier.

Donner Summit is full of history. Make sure you visit the Auburn Ski Club Museum and the Donner Summit Museum. New this summer you can learn more about Donner Summit by following the 20 mile museum. Along Old Highway 40 you'll find interpretive signs describing the different historical areas. Stop in any of the businesses along Old Highway 40 to get your driving brochure.
